About Freedom Ranch

Freedom Ranch was established in 2019 when we purchased the 226-acre property located in northern Kentucky.  We then worked in earnest to transform the property from its humble beginnings which included three barns and some fencing, into the homestead ranch property and working cattle operation that it is today.

The property includes approximately 95 acres of forest, 75 acres of pasture, and 55 acres of hay fields.  We have many critters on the property that keep our family busy, including dogs, cats, chickens, donkeys, goats, and cattle.  Each critter that we manage has a purpose on the ranch, and we work hard to live alongside our animal friends in harmony and with respect.  We take great pride in providing all-natural animal husbandry to the maximum extent possible.

Management of the property is focused towards providing high quality grasses for the cattle, controlling weeds through cutting and cattle/goat rotation, and cultivating hay production for winter feeding.  Although we strive for a lush pasture or hay field, we realize and appreciate that mother nature is not perfect, and we accept her with all her imperfections.  We strive to work with nature, not against her.
