Goats

We have a herd of Alpine goats that we use to help manage the property with their voracious appetite for weeds and shrubs. We also have some goat kids that are for sale every year. Our goats are 100% purebred registered Alpine goats. They are good for weeds, milk, or meat. With our breeding schedule, our kids are born in the spring, and we therefore typically ween our goats in the fall, and they are available for sale at that time. All kids are dis-budded, although the male goats are sometimes not 100% dis-budded. American Alpine Association Registered goats cost $250 each. Unregistered goats cost $225 each.
